Arrive in Delhi. After completion of your arrival formalities,
please proceed to the exit, where you are greeted with a

Day 2 |
Full
day in Delhi
After breakfast proceed to the sight seeing tour of Old
& New Delhi, The 17th century Old walled city of Shahjahanabad
was at one time surrounded by a sturdy defensive wall, only
fragments of which remain. Its citadel the Red Fort was
the opulent residence of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, builder
of the Taj Mahal. Its great mosque the Jami Masjid is both
the largest congregational mosque's in India and the final
extravagance of Shahjahan. The main street of Old Delhi
is the colorful shopping bazaar known as 'Chandni Chowk"
(Silver Street). Outside the Old City are the ruins of Feroz
Shah Kotla, a fortress palace wherein lies a 13m high sandstone
Ashoka Pillar inscribed with Ashoka's edicts and Raj Ghat
the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi, you
will visit the Humayun's Tomb, the precursor of the Taj
Mahal; the Bahai Temple an architectural marvel constructed
in the shape of the Lotus flower, the Qutab Minar Complex,
dominated by the 234-foot Victory Tower. A drive down the
spectacular Rajpath (The Kingsway) passing the India Gate,
a World War II memorial, the President's House, the House
of Parliament. Enjoy a brief respite at Birla Mandir, a

Day 3 |
Drive Delhi / Sikandra / Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra (204kms/4hrs 30min) en route
visiting Sikandra, the tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Continue
drive on to Agra. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 |
Sightseeing
in Agra
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Agra. You will visit
the world famous Taj Mahal, a monument that requires no
introduction. Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in memory
of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this poem in white marble
took 22 years to complete. You will visit the Agra Fort,
a citadel whose forbidding exteriors hide an inner paradise
where Hindu & Muslim architecture merge in splendour.
This is where Shahjahan was kept under house arrest by his
son Aurangzeb and he spent his time gazing at the Taj Mahal

Day 5 |
Drive Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur
After breakfast travel by road to Jaipur (240 kms/5hrs
30 min) en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost city
35 kms from Agra. Built in red sandstone in honour of Saint
Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor
Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is an example of robust stability
combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents

Day 6 |
Full
day in Jaipur
After breakfast excursion to the hill fortress of Amber.
Enjoy an elephant ride to reach the top of the fort. The
fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture – a complex
of palaces, temples, exquisite marble and mirror-inlaid
halls and apartments. In the afternoon tour of Jaipur City.
In the old city, which is still encircled by a crenellated
wall, visit the Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds,"
City Palace, and Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory.

Drive Jaipur /
Delhi
After breakfast you will drive back to Delhi (260 kms/6hrs).
