Day 1

Arrival Delhi

On arrival in Delhi you are met and assisted at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day  2

Delhi / Lucknow / Sravasti

This morning you are transferred to railway station to board the Shatabdi Express Train for Lucknow. On arrival at Lucknow have lunch and thereafter drive to Sravasti. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Sravasti.

Day  3

Sravasti / Kapilavastu / Lumbini

Morning visit Sahet Mahet. Later drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha en route visiting Kapilavastu where prince Siddhartha (Gautam Buddha) spent his childhood. Here he saw sorrow and pain, disease and death. Then, finally when he saw a radiant happy Sadhu who had conquered all these, he decided to renounce all worldly riches and pleasures to seek truth and embark on the path of salvation. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Lumbini

Overnight in Lumbini International. 

Day 4

Morning visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Later drive to Kushinagar, where Buddha finally attained Mahaparmirvana. Amongst the ruins here are the Mukutbandhan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha. Afternoon visit Nirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa and the cremation site of Lord Buddha. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 5

Kushinagar / Vaishali / Patna

After breakfast drive to Patna en route visiting Vaishali with packed lunch. Continue drive to Patna and check into hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Patna.

Day 6

Patna / Nalanda / Rajgir / Bodhgaya

This morning drive to Bodhgaya en route visiting Nalanda and Rajgir. Drive on to Bodhgaya, the place of the Buddha's Enlightenment. It attracts thousands of believers from all over the world. Situated near River Niranjana, it is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres since it was here that Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 7

In Bodhgaya

Breakfast at hotel. Thereafter visit the temples and the Niranjana River. Meals and overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 8

Bodhgaya - Varanasi

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Varanasi with packed lunch. On arrival in Varanasi check into hotel. Later visit Sarnath, the place where Buddha preached his first sermon. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 9

Varanasi - Kathmandu

Early in the morning enjoy a boat ride on River Ganges to view the morning rituals of the Hindus. You will pass by the bathing ghats (riverbanks) and the burning ghats (where cremations are conducted). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later transfer to the airport for to board flight for Kathmandu.

On arrival in Kathmandu you are met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10

Kathmandu

After breakfast visit to Patan City, Swayambhunath and Boudhnath. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
