DAY 1


Beijing - Seattle

Upon arrival in Seattle, a Mandarin-speaking tour guide will greet you at Seattle's Tacoma Airport (at baggage claim area), then transfer with you to Vancouver. En route, your group will stop by the Seattle World Fair Center and the Government locks system.  


DAY 2


Vancouver

In Vancouver, visit Stanley Park, Totem Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Lion Gate Bridge, Capilano Suspension Bridge (admission not included), Salmon Hatchery, Queen Elizabeth Park, and salmon tasting & shopping. 



DAY 3


Vancouver /

Victoria

A morning ride on the BC ferry to Victoria, capital of British Columbia. Visit the world famous Butchart Garden, with its innovative design and magnificent flowers . Explore historic Chinatown in Victoria, colonial style Victoria, the remarkable Mile '0', Parliament Building. Later today return across the Strait of Georgia on a ferry back to Vancouver. 








DAY 4








Anchorage

This 90-minute fully narrated and interactive tour is on a 19-passenger coach with a great sound system. During the tour you will see historic pictures of Anchorage, the 1964 earthquake and other pictures of interest, on an onboard video system. You¡¯ll make photo stops at a city skyline-viewing platform and at the bluff where you'll have views of the inlet other natural wonders. You¡¯ll see Lake Hood- designated the Worlds Busiest Floatplane Base; and of course your share of moose (if it's safe to pull over). Throughout the tour you will hear an overview of Anchorage weather, economy, daylight and lifestyle translated into Chinese by your guide.

DAY 5

Parks / Seward

Seward Check into your hotel then move on to explore the town. Today¡¯s destination is Seward itself! Choose from the activities below:

DAY 7







Seward

Kenai Fjords National Park, home of the 300 square mile Harding Ice Field and abundant marine wildlife. From here we will embark on a glacier/wildlife cruise into the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park. We¡¯ll look for the abundant wildlife that can be observed including whales (Orcas and Humpbacks), sea otters, endangered Stellar sea lions, Dall porpoises and colonies of nesting sea birds (including Puffins, cormorants, Oyster Catchers, and Bald Eagles to name a few). On the way we¡¯ll visit an active tidewater glacier and watch and listen for falling ice. This is one of Alaska¡¯s premier wildlife and glacier viewing trips! We¡¯ll camp near the water edge of one of our favorite Alaskan lakes.













DAY 8













Valdez

Prince William Sound
Today we¡¯ll cross Prince William Sound on the Alaska State Ferry to Valdez. We'll look for bears, humpback and killer whales, Dall porpoises, sea lions, harbor seals and mountain goats as we relax and enjoy the scenery. En route we'll pass the Columbia Glacier, one of the largest and most magnificent tidewater glaciers in the state. The Columbia glacier covers an area the size of Los Angeles and cast thousands of tons of ice into the sea each year. As we pass the Columbia we'll search for seals sunbathing on the floating icebergs. Once in Valdez, we¡¯ll check into a charming local Bed and Breakfast hotel

In Valdez
Often referred to as the 'Little Switzerland" of Alaska, Valdez is beautifully situated at the base of the towering Chugach Mountains on the shores of Prince William Sound. Made famous by the Alaska Pipeline, and later the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Valdez has since become a popular tourist destination. Visitors are attracted to the lush landscape, high concentration of glaciers and great outdoor recreation. Today we'll hike on the areas many trails. If hiking isn¡¯t for you, choose from one of the additional activities available: sea kayaking ($140), river rafting (from $50) glacier/wildlife cruises ($150) and ocean fishing ($195).
